DS-2C

The DS-2C outdoor controller/sensor unit automatically activates based on temperature and moisture readings from the built-in sensor.

The DS-2C is mounted outdoors, in a location where the sensor can detect local weather conditions. The DS-2C must detect the presence of moisture while registering an ambient temperature that is below the controls adjustable trigger temperature (unit ships with a trigger temp of 3.9°C) for automatic activation of the heating system; the control can also be activated manually, which bypasses the automatic sensors function.

Remote indoor monitoring and control of the DS-2C can be achieved by adding on the optional CDP-2 Snow Sensor Control/Display Panel, which fits into any standard single gang electrical enclosure. (Subject to additional charges). The CDP-2 panel connects to the DS-2C controller using communication wire; a 12” communication wire connection is supplied, which can be extended by the contractor if required.
